Florida Forward Noah Shows Off Against the Dawgs
2006-03-02

by: badanov

The Georgia game was yet another must-win for Florida.

Not that it mattered to them after dropping three in a row to three very good basketball teams, but just to keep from being embarrassed.

The star of the game was sophomore forward Joakim Noah, one of the best forwards a in the country in our opinion, a fella we will be hearing a lot about next year.

The Georgia game was where Noah's grandfather, in the US from Cameroon, and his father tennis star Yannick Noah.

Our guess is that Noah wanted to show off and he wound up doing exactly that, scoring 37 points and 11 rebounds, 19 from the charity stripe.

The Dawgs were held to just 39 percent from the field and 19 percent from trey range.

The last/next Florida game is at Kentucky, a team the Gators will have to do much better against in order to win. Kentucky has won four of their last five games.
