The tempo of combat operations continued at a decreased pace.

Chernarus Defense Forces, Air Forces and Naval Forces have engaged in six separate operations against rebel forces in two regions.

1) An amphibious detachment from 1st Bn 2nd Separate Naval Infantry Brigade was ordered Friday morning to land by assault boat and attack Hanski in Virolahti.

The naval troops were given orders to locate and eliminate two rebel operatives, Jovan Duka and Roza Vyalitsna, who carried when them instructions to imprison, interrogate and torture several unnamed individuals who were suspected of providing information to their enemies including the Chernarus Naval Forces.

The landing was very close to the town and enemy counterfire was intense. As soon as the CNF forces formed up they moved to the attack with the mission of clearing Hanski and eliminate the two criminal operatives.

Even with the commander dead, the detachment managed to locate the operatives, seizing important intelligence. Command squad also executed a dangerous danking movement that allowed them to destroy the three supply trucks.

The naval infantry detachment managed to make it back to ship safely. Casualties were moderate with command squad losing five, and 2nd squad losing six.

2) Late Friday night, a detachment from 4th Bn Cherarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade was ordered to attack the town of Nateln after reports surfaced that showed rebel forces had taken over.

The detachment had orders to locate and kill Simeon Chivic and Annet Rulin, both operatives commanding the rebel forces there. Their troops were ransacking residences and beating residents for money and food.

The attack was a broad frontal attack with one tank covering the main north-south road and the other two were helping to cover the infantry advance. Fighting was ferocious.

Eventually the two operatives were killed and sensitive documents were seized. The town quickly cleared of enemy resistance.

However in an effort to push north to get at the supply trucks the rebels had stationed there, the detachment suffered heavy casualties, including command squad loss of their BTR. Command squad lost eight while 2nd squad lost nine. One tank was destroyed by an enemy BTR-80A

All the mission objectives were achieved, and the remnants of the detachment returned to base safely.

3) Early Sunday morning a Chernarus five man private contractor special force team was sent to Tinkanen in western Virolahti with orders to assassinate two rebel operatives whose forces had taken over the town.

According to intelligences rebels were planning to transform the town into a transhipping point for their forces' munitions. It also was planned to be used as a shipment point for drugs.

Under the cover of two USMC F35Bs the team carefully penetrated the town, found and eliminated the operatives, Ivan Albanez amd Jelena Stajic.

The order also included extracting three civilians who were held prisoner. Intelligence had no idea why the prisoners were being held. One of them had been badly beaten. The team also found a group of five civilians who had been abused and shot to death.

All elements of the mission were successful. The civilians were safely extracted to a CNF assault boat for evacuation. The team made it back to ship intact. All safely.

4) A warning order by brigade recon staff was issued to 4th Bn Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade that rebel forces were planning a mass movement of armor troops into the town of Ratzlingen in Rosche.

When the tanks of the Chernarus armor detachment arrived in town, they almost immediately began to engage rebel troops and vehicles trying to penetrate into the town.

Losses were heavy for friendly forces. One tank was destroyed while another suffered a fire control hit and had to be withdrawn. 2nd squad lost its BTR. Reinforcing troops took heavy casualties as well, losing 11 of 18 troops and a BTR.

Losses for the rebel side were heavy as well. The field count was three wheeled technicals, one BRDM scout car five BMPs and two tanks.

Both SU-25 ground interdiction aircraft were shot down, but only one pilot survived his crash and was evacuated in one of the scout cars.

5) An armor detachment from 4th Bn Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade was issued a warning order from brigade recon staff that rebels were planning to return to Nateln with an armor heavy force after their decisive defeat Friday.

The detachment managed to make the town ahead of the spearheads of the enemy forces which consisted of three machine gun technicals. One enemy BRDM penetrated the CDF defense zone, but was destroyed by tank gunfire.

Once two SU-25 ground interdiction fighters appeared in the area of operation, the fight became theirs as they attacked at least two BMP-1s. Other rebel armor further north appeared but were slowed or defeated by the air cover.

Casualties were light. None of the infantry sections lost personnel, while one commander from a BRDM scout car was killed and one commander from one of the detachment's tanks were killed.

The detachment managed to withdraw from town in good order and returned to base. Two BTR squads were ordered to remain in the town by brigade command.

6) On Wednesday late morning, 1st Bn Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade assembled an armor detachment, on a warning order from brigade recon staff that rebel forces would attempt to take Batensen, Rosche, just two kilometers north of 4th Bn Forward Zone.

Forty minutes into the operation, the detachment lost two tanks, one which overturned and one which was destroyed by a technical. One SU-25 ground interdiction fighter was shot down, but the pilot was evacuated aboard the detachment commander's BTR.

Losses in equipment were heavy. One CDF BRDM scout car was destroyed while the other lost its gunner and was forced to evacuate. The reinforcement tank was lost to enemy BMP-2 fire, due to an engine fire. Reinforcing rifle squads lost 12 out of 18 total. 2nd squad lost two.

Field reports say rebel forces lost three technicals and two BRDM scout cars.

Brigade commander ordered 3rd squad to stay into town until relieved. Brigade command also ordered 4th commander to plan a counterattack.
