| Mobile Defense in Klein Pritzier in Rosche, July 24th, 2020 2020-07-25 by: badanov On Friday night an armor task force from 4th Bn, Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade received a warning order from brigade recon staff that rebel armor forces would attempt to take Klein Pritzier in Rosche from the march. The task force made town just ten minutes before rebel forces arrived. Rifle squads engaged and destroyed two separate rifle probes by the rebel forces in the west. The western defensive line lost the BRDM scout car to an enemy RPG shot. In the center, rebel forces attacked with no fewer than three tanks and three BMPs. One of the BMPs disabled a T-72 before being destroyed, forcing the task force commander to mount a separate sub operation to repair the tank. The tank lost its commander which rendered it combat ineffective and was withdrawn. Field reports say three tanks, two BMPs and two technicals were destroyed. Infantry losses were light with four riflemen total KIA. One BTR was destroyed. One SU-25 ground interdiction fighter was shot down. The task force commander was killed leading an attack on an enemy BMP which managed to penetrate the cordon around Klein Pritzier Battalion recon reports say that while the rebel forces received a check on their movement, rebel forces will attempt another attack as soon as Saturday night. -----------------------------------------COMMENTS---------------------------------------- |
