Message begins: The tempo of combat operations continued at an increased pace. Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in three operations in three regions. 1) 3rd Bn Chernarus 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade was ordered to Hodingen in Werferlingen Friday afternoon to relieve a small rifle force facing imminent enemy attack. The mission was successful, but costly for the relieved force, with 10 KIA. Command squad lost two. Field estimates put the enemy losses at three BTR-80As, one T-34/85 and one T-55. A film of the operation can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zAl0m1O4JI 2) On Tuesday evening a paradrop element from 3rd Bn Chernarus 2nd Naval Infantry Brigade was ordered to eastern arfield in Gabreta with orders to clear the airfield of separatist forces. The initial operation was successful, but the subsequent operation to hold the airfield was not. The para task force suffered catastrophic losses and was forced to abandon the airfield. A film of the operation can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAyATLOoTT0 3) A light infantry rifle force from 1st Bn, Chernarus 17th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to oversee the evacuation of civilians from the town of Zhukovo in Beketov. The operation was abandoned when two enemy tanks overran the town and killed most of the evacuaees.
