Not only did the ex-country music trio Dixe Chicks not get the memo, the trio seems determined to bolster their contention there was nothing wrong with their attack on Bush in 2003. Funny enough, the Chicks' demise in country music circles, self-inflicted by the trio as it has been, has been remarkably free of the poisonous rhetoric you would likely find in other genres. Country music and their fans simply turned their collective backs on this sorry excuse for a music act quietly and moved on to others. We hope the Dixie Chicks will enjoy their newfound friends.
