The people at makers of the Combat Mission series earlier this year cancelled a campaign module for its tactical games.

According to the announcement not much in the way if resources were put into developing the module, and since development was so slow, a decision was made to cancel the project altogether.

What is significant about this decision was the decision to release the source code into the public domain under the GPL.
