One of our arguments about the fate of Pajamas Media was the unholy mix of left and right wing blogs that have combined in this enterprise. It can't possibly work. Given how severely fractured politics in the US are.
We have maintained that the first time a left winger takes umbrage at something posted by a conservative PJM blogger, the bloom will be off the rose. No amount of “passing the bong and singing kumbaya” will save the venture if left wing blogs decide to bolt.
Now we have this news that PJM “CEO” Roger Simon has attacked the left using one of his advisory board members as a target.
It's just one line in one blog so far, but what happens when several leftists go after a conservative blog or and several others decide to defend. What then?
