As we have said elsewhere one of the toughest areas of college basketball is LSU's defense in the paint. Currently the Tigers is tied with Tennessee for the best record in the SEC at 8-1 with only a road loss to Alabama last weekend.

Tomorrow LSU goes against Florida ( 6-3 conf. ). At the moment, LSU appears to be the team to beat.

LSU has the best statistics in nearly every defensive statistical category: number one of offensive and defensive rebounds, number three in scoring offense and defense and number one in rebounding offense and defense, and in blocked shots; and third in steals.

We expect this game to be close, with little impact on LSU's lock on first place in the SEC West in the event of an LSU win.
