Writer David Cordrea laments the unhealthy relationship between the federal government and retail gun dealers. In his article he tries to paint them as being Quislings with regard to the 2nd Amendment, and I think he is pretty close to the mark. Fascists have been using politics to split those who continue to think Constitutional Rights are for them alone and those who understand the nexus between those rights and a high functioning society.

Writers for dead tree publications continue their attacks on basic rights. One spiel from a writer by the name of Greg Litrell dismisses the notion that armed Americans can stop a tyranny. His contention is that the government has such a stranglehold on weapons that it would be futile to resist the government in any meaningful way. He believes that nukes are on the table as an option to stopping an armed rebellion. And in the hands of people such as this government, I have zero doubt that nukes would be in the decision matrix.

Individuals such as Litrell are bloodthirsty small tyrants in their own right, and their drive to take money, liberty and lives away from their political enemies continues to accelerate.

What Litrell doesn't get is that both sides would suffer as the Tree of Liberty would get a watering: those who live for, love and worship government as well as those who rebelled.

In the interim, here is some information on react-to-contact drills, and how to format an intelligence report.

Even if you don't wish to actually use your firearm to fight, some information material is available on marksmanship.

Loads.

Rantburg's summary for arms and ammunition:
