Early Wednesday morning, Chernarus naval air forces based at Balota Naval Aviation airfield launched two nocturnal airstrikes against enemy targets, successfully destroying both target sets.
The first mission was launched after midnight Wednesday against two ZU-23/2 antiaircraft trucks which were deployed on O'lsha mountain.
One SU-25 ground interdiction fighter and its crew were destroyed by groundfire, but, despite that, managed to destroy both vehicles. The flight commander also was wounded, and his aircraft damaged, but he landed safely at Balota.
The second mission was launched against enemy supply trucks which were being staged one kilometer south of Pobeda Dam. All the trucks were destroyed, and the aircraft and aircrews suffered no damage.
It has been 1384 days since this story was posted.
