Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations continued at an increased pace.

Chernarus Defense Forces, Air Forces and Naval Forces have engaged in six separate operations against rebel forces in three regions.

1) On Saturday morning elements of 1st Bn, Chernarus 17th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to the attack against a rebel technical/rifle group which entered east Khuzhadon in Beketov early Saturday morning.

The main task for CDF forces was to locate and eliminate the rebel operatives, Ivan Albanez and Bojana Dobrojevic, who were preparing to evacuate some civilians to be used in their criminal activities.

The task force assembled closed to Khuzhadon with 3rd squad attacking the eastern side of town with command squad hitting the west side, and 3rd squad in a tactical reserve position just north of the Treshka River.

CDF forces quickly located and eliminated the two operatives, and eliminated several enemy riflemen and two technicals in the process. The commander seized documents from the dead body of Bojana Dobrojevic.

Casualties were heavy with 3rd squad being wiped out and a ATGM BRDM scout car destroyed in the early going. Command squad lost one.

Documents seized included directives from rebel commanders about preparing for additional operations north of Treshka River.

2) Also on Saturday morning a battle group from 4th Bn Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade was tasked with overseeing an evacuation of 17 civilians from Molbath in Rosche.

The evacuees had been subjected to hours of abusive phone calls, texts and emails by rebel commanders and suspected rebel sympathizers in town. The town mayor made arrangements with brigade command to provide two trucks to assist in the operation.

Rebel forces struck first with an infantry probe northwest of town and then two more in the east. Rebel forces also attempted to drive their armor forces straight into town in an effort to get at the trucks.

The evacuation was successful with all 17 civilians moved to safety. Losses for friendly forces were moderate with command and 2nd squad losing no rifleman, but with 3rd squad taking the brunt of the defense of town, losing seven.

One tank had to be abandoned in town while getting stuck near a residential building. The battlegroup also had to contend with an overturned tank, which was righted.

3) On Sunday a rifle group from 1st Bn Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to Staroye to eliminate two rebel operatives, Georgi Horvat and Katerina Pimenova.

The two commanders entered Staroye the night before and were in the beginning stages of fortifying their hold on the town.

Field reports were that Chernarus air cover (SU-25s) eliminated one of two technicals in town. Casualties were light for friendly forces with command squad losing two. The rifle group commander was killed while attempting to eliminate the enemy operatives.

4) On Monday, another rifle group from 1st Bn Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to attack the village of Dolina, with specific instructions to eliminate two rebel operatives.

Rebel forces entered Dolina the night before and began rounding up of residents they were told would be trouble. Intel received by brigade recon staff was that the operatives, Yevgeniy Samarchenko and Kristina Levieva, planned to kill as many as 20 individuals.

The rifle group attacked from the south driving into the middle of the rebels' defensive perimeter. Two friendly BRDMs were assigned to a road leading northwest out of Dolina to prevent enemy reinforcements from intervening in our attack. A heavy firefight took place between CDF forces and defending rebel riflemen.

Casualties were heavy. 2nd squad lost five in the intital firefight, while 3rd squad lost two. The two BRDM scout cars, there to provide heavy machine gun fire support, were each destroyed by RPG shots. The two SU-25s acting as air cover also were shot down with the loss of the aircrews.

In the retreat, 3rd squad ran into an enemy foot patrol, losing four more. Field reports say the rebel foot patrol was wiped out in the firefight.

Documents taken from the dead body of Kristina Levieva indicated the rebels' occupation of Dolina was intended to be a subsequent operation to the previous day's takeover of Staroye.

5) On Tuesday afternoon Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade recon staff issued a warning order that a large rebel armor force would attempt to drive to a crossroads just two kilometers north of Klein Malchau.

The BRDM scout car element of the task force assigned to meet the force arrived in the area of operation first, encountering and destroying a small rebel rifle force and a pair of technicals. The scout car crew was forced to abandon their vehicle and await rescue after their commander and gunner were hit by gunfire.

The rest of the task force arrived under fire by enemy technicals and rifle groups. In the early going rebel scout cars and technicals retreated to Jarlitz under constant tank gun fire. One enemy BMP attempted to penetrate the ad hoc cordon set up by friendly forces, but was destroyed.

The task force commander ordered his tanks forward 400 meters, the better to shorten the range when rebel forces emerged from Jarlitz. Rebel forces then struck with at least two tanks, one BMP-2 and two BRDM scout cars.

The task force lost four tanks within five minutes forcing the task force to retreat.

Losses were heavy. Command squad lost five, 2nd squad lost three and their BTR, and 3rd squad lost one. One reinforcing rifle squad lost six and their BTR. All four tanks were destroyed.

Brigade recon staff now expects rebels to begin pouring their forces into southern Rosche.

6) On Wednesday morning a battle group with 1st Bn, Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to Shakhovka with orders to eliminate two rebel operatives who led a large rifle-technical group to occupying the village the night before.

The operatives, Aleksandr Evtushenko and Eralda Cummulaj, has little time to secure their defensive perimeter, but they did capture and were apparently torturing three civilians they were holding for spying.

The CDF rifle group attacked directly from the south, with 3rd squad ordered by battalion command to be held in reserve.

Working closely with 2nd squad, friendly forces quickly penetrated the town perimeter. Small, but short, violent firefights took place, but eventually friendly forces broke through.

The two operatives were eliminated by the rifle group commander and documents were seized from the dead body of Eralda Cummulaj. Two of the three prisoners were found and escorted to the safety of one of the force's BRDM scout cars for evacuation.

On the way to Shakhovka, one of the BRDM scout cars encountered and destroyed a rebel foot patrol.

Losses were moderate with command squad and 2nd squad each losing three. One of the SU-25 flying air cover were shot down, but the pilot managed to bail out. The commander located the pilot, but was unable to move him.

Battalion recon staff said the documents were orders for the rebel force to go no further south than Shakhovka.
