Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations continued at an increased pace.

Chernarus Defense Forces, Air Forces and Naval Forces have engaged in seven separate operations against rebel forces in five regions.

1) Friday morning an element of 3rd Bn Chernarus 24th Separate Light Mountain Rifle Brigade was ordered to Somppi in Hellanmaa to locate and eliminate two rebel operatives who were planning to take over the area.

The CDF rifle group also was ordered to locate and record a mass grave that brigade recon staff learned was somewhere north of town.

The rifle group encountered two separate rebel rifle patrols on their approach march, and suffered moderate casualties, while eliminating the patrols. Rebel forces also had deployed a small battery of 122mm howitzers to provide defensive artillery fire.

The operatives, Rusland Kravchuck and Anna Allilueva wer located and eliminated after a brief but fierce fire fight. Intel documents were found on the dead body of Allilueva.

The operation was unable to continue because the commander was killed by a Russian sniper most likely from a Russian MVD squad.

2) Late Friday night a hastily assembled task force from 3rd Bn Chernarus 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade was sent to Ribbensdorf to relieve and retrieve two rifle squads ordered to remain in town.

Everything that could have gone wrong with the operation did go wrong. At the very start there was an overturned BTR, and then an overturned tank. One of the two trucks meant to transport the stranded troops was damaged during the road march.

3rd squad became stuck and delayed in a town during the road march but was eventually unstuck. Command squad dismounted his troops a full kilometer south of the area of operation.

By the time the scout cars arrived in Ribbensdorf, the two squads were left at half strength. By the time command squad arrived, only one effective was left, rendering on operation a failure. Command squad turned out to be the only task force rifle squad to make the town.

When command squad arrived, it ran straight into a rebel ambush which included one T-55 tank and a Russian MVD squad. Command squad was cut down to three left and the commander was killed.

3) Late Saturday night a Chernarus naval spetsnaz team was ordered to Chalkeia in Altis to extract a pair of informants.

The informants tried to escape a rebel patrol Thursday night and wound up being pursued into Chalkeia. Somehow the pair got the word out to Chernarus naval intelligence be extracted.

The CNF team managed to make landfall during a time where there were no coastal foot patrols.

With the help of two Greek Air Force F-4 fighter bombers which were ordered to standby, the team penetrated the defensive cordon set up by the rebels in Chalkeira. The rebels still were searching the town for the informants.

The team came close to being discovered by a rebel motor patrol, but that patrol, plus at least two more technicals were destroyed by the aircraft.

The team escorted the informants across three kilometers to an awaiting transport boat to be taken to safety. The team itself suffered no casualties and returned safely to ship.

4) Late Monday night, a Chernarus naval spetsnaz team weas ordered to Panagia in Altis to locate two rebel operatives, Enver Kadare and Nadezhda Pavlova, who led a rifle/technicals force to take over the town.

Late intelligence indicated that a small group of Russian trained private contractors (shooters) were in Panagia to arrest or kill on orders of the operatives. The contractors/operators were special forces trained with night vision and suppressed rifles.

Two Greek Air Force F-4E fighter bombers provided air cover for the ground operation, destroying by the count in the field, no fewer than three technicals.

A bomb was dropped on a technical that destroyed the operatives' hideout, killing both.

The team located and destroyed the contractor team as well as the two operatives. The team left in the night before more rebel reinforcements could appear.

The team reported no casualties, and were able to seize documents from the dead body of Nadezhda Pavlova. According to the documents, the contractors were operators from CIS states, Serbia, and Albania.

5) Early Tuesday morning a task force from 2nd Bn Chernarus 17th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to Groznovo to locate and eliminate two rebel operatives, who led a force to take over the town.

Army intelligence had very little data on Alexei Berezov and Amanda garo, only that they were involved in the fighting in the 2009 civil war and recently had been given orders to take over Groznovo.

The fighting to penetrate the rebels' defensive zone was extremely fierce with rebel forces fighting like the very devil to resist CDF's actions.

With air cover from two SU-25 ground interdiction fighters and an MI-24 attack helicopter, the task force managed to bring one squad within striking distance of the operatives.

Casualties were heavy. Command squad lost six, while 3rd squad lost two. One of the ground interdiction aircraft were shot down, but the pilot survived and was picked up by 3rd squad. The attack helicopter was destroyed after attempt to engage a rebel BMP-2.

Documents seized from the dead body of Garo suggested the rebels may try to reinforce this sector and that the taking of Groznovo was but a first step.

6) A rifle force from 1st Bn Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to attack Shakhovka early Wednesday morning after brigade recon staff learned that a rebel force had invaded the town and was planning to use its resources for their own uses.

The order included the task of assassinating the two operatives who led the rifle force, Jovan Duka and Oksana Putina.

The task force attacked as a single unit from the south, engaging two rebel technicals and penetrating the rebels' defensive zone. In addition to the attack, rebel artillery attacked.

Casualties were heavy. Command squad lost four, while 2nd squad lost three. 3rd squad lost one.

The commander shot and killed the criminal command group including Putina and seized important documents on held her person.

7) Chernarus naval aviation aircraft flew two sorties in response to rebel actions in Chernarus on Thursday.

Early Thursday evening, a sortie was ordered to an area east of Khelm, where rebel forces had concentrated a number of troops, including supply vehicles and technicals. It was suspected by naval intelligence that the concentration was to prepare a probe in the direction of Berezino.

Vehicles targeted and destroyed included three supply vehicles, one medium and one heavy machine gun technicals. An unknown number of enemy shooters were killed in the air strike as well.

Both pilots on the sorties returned to base safely.

Late Wednesday night a sortie was flown by two SU-25 ground interdiction fighters after naval intelligence discovered rebel troops were begining to concentrate forces near Krasnostav.

The mission caused an unknown amount of damage to rebel forces, so a Bomb Damage Assessment mission was ordered to the area. A rifle squad from 3rd Bn Chernarus 2nd Separate Naval Infantry Brigade landed by helicopter near the reported area of troops concentrations, only to find that a large force was present and undamaged.

A firefight ensued, severe enough that after losing six of ten effectives, the mission outcome was declared doubtful and the BDA team was ordered back to base.
