Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations continued at a slower pace.

Chernarus Defense Forces, Air Forces and Naval Forces have engaged in three separate operations against rebel forces in two regions.

1) Friday afternoon a rifle group, part of 1st Bn Chernarus 4th Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to Dolina to recapture the village after it was taken over by a separatist armed group.

The armed group, headed by Simeon Piscevic and a female second in command, Maria Charpova, also imprisoned the village mayor, her husband and her sister in law.

The village defenses were reinforced with two Humvees with mounted heavy machine guns.

The tactical plan was for the rifle group to attack from the south in a broad front, and to release the prisoners.

The commander was killed by one of the Humvees and the operation was abandoned.

2) Friday night a task force assembled from 3rd Bn Chernarus 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade was ordered to Querenhorst in Werferlingen, to relieve troops stranded there by brigade command.

Despite quickly moving the task force to Querenhorst, separatist attacks destroyed one rifle squad and one AGS technical. The remaining squad was cut down to three effectives. They were loaded onto the evacuation vehicles and moved south.

The task force suffered heavy vehicle casualties. One tank was abandoned after suffering a crew hit, while another was ordered abandoned because the tank overturned.

One support vehicle was destroyed by a traffic accident. 2nd squad lost its BTR in the river.

Separatist vehicle losses were very heavy with three BRDM scout cars and three BMP vehicles destroyed or abandoned.

Friendly casualties included the vehicle commander from a CDF tank.

3) On Saturday night, an armored group from 2nd Bn, Chernarus 33rd Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade was ordered to attack and clear the town of Wallbeck in Werferlingen.

Wallbeck was occupied by separatists starting Saturday morning, led by Oleg Noskov and Amanda Garo. The two criminals had gone about terrorizing the town's residents. Their forces jailed the town's mayor, his wife and her aunt. Their release was one of the tasks given to the task force.

The task force was divided into two. One tank, one BRDM scout car, 2nd squad and 3rd squad were ordered to approach Wallbeck from the south, while command squad and one tank were to force the river from the east across the bridge.

Neither force immediately encountered defensive fire until command squad crossed the bridge, and started to push west and south. The two other squads were ordered to push north on the west side of town.

Command squad located and eliminated the criminal command group, seizing documents and eliminating their security detail.

Command squad began a turn north to approach the location of the prisoners, when it encountered a number of enemy counterattacks. A rifle probe from the north was stopped, and a separate armor group was destroyed by one of the tanks.

As soon as the prisoners were released, a second rifle probe entered from the northwest, prompting the commander to drop artillery atop them. Eventually enemy counterattacks stopped, allowing the task force to mop up the area.

When the order to withdraw came down, the task force retreated in good order. Casualties were light with command squad losing two, 2nd squad losing one.

Separatist casualties were heavy. Field reports counted at least two BRDMs and two BTR-80As destroyed.

The three prisoners were taken to safety to the battalion forward zone.
