Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from November 11th, 2022, to November 24th, 2022 Inclusive.

Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations continue at a reduced tempo.

Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in two operations in two regions.

1) Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade sent a task group to Mehre in Rosche with orders to oversee an evacuation of civilians.

Local separatist commanders had been warning officials that they wanted certain civilians in their custody so that they can be tried for crimes.

Officials prevailed on the brigade commander to help with the evacuation.

The tactical deployment was in straight line running east to west, with tanks and recon vehicles at the flanks and BMP infantry in the middle.

Attacks began with infantry attacks including some Russian special forces and Spanish speaking militia. The task force held the line aginst attacks.

Command squad took the brunt of the attacks with half the squad becoming walking wounded, unable to fire their weapons .

When the evacuation was complete, the task force withdrew back to the marshalling area.

Losses were light. Enemy losses included by field count one T-55 tank, one BMP and one BTR-80A.

2) A battlegroup formed from 3rd Bn, Chernarus 33rd Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade marched on Hitlersried Sunday morning with orders to attack and clear the town of separatist troops.

Separatists took over the town only hours previously. They were planning to set up a supply node for further operations in the south. Documents and a cell phone taken from the dead bodies of two criminal command operatives confirmed this.

The tactical plan was for 2nd 3rd squads to follow Tank 1 and Tank 2 from the southeast, while command squad advanced from the southwest. The two scout cars provided screening for advancing forces.

Command squad came into contact on the western extent of the town, but was driven back by intense rifle and grenade fire. The commander assaulted a building where criminal operatives were holed up, but was killed by an unidentified armed female operative.

Eventually, both criminal operatives were killed, and the town was cleared of enemy forces briefly. Enemy reinforcements, both armored vehicles and infantry, were pouring into town, and they did severe damage to the battlegroup.

When retreat orders came down, the retreat was disordered.

Losses were very heavy with one tank, two BTRs and one scout car destroyed. Command squad and 2nd squad were both nearly wiped out.

Field counts of enemy losses were high, with one T-55, two BTR-80As and at least one BRDM scout car destroyed.
