Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from December 9th, 2022, to December 15th 2022 Inclusive.

The tempo of combat operations continue at an decreased tempo.
Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in three operations in two regions.
1) On Saturday, part of Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade launched a wide area operation against separatist forces in Rosche, beginning with Mehre.
The initial assault was successful, however 2nd BMP Squad was wiped out by tank gunfire. Operations continued on with command squad capturing Gross Liedern and Klein Liedern.
Losses were high with 2nd BMP Squad being destroyed by tank gunfire. Command squad lost five including the commander and his second in command.
Field counts of enemy losses were unavailable.
2) Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade conducted a subsequent operation in Rosche.
3) Part of 2nd Bn, Chernarus 17th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was tasked with recapturing Sevastianovo in Beketov after separatist forces captured the town.
The assembled task force included two Su-25 ground interdiction aircraft and one Mi-24 gunship as air support.
The tactical plan was for 2nd and 3rd squad to assault the town from the west, while command squad attacked from the east. Directly supporting the rifles were two BRDM scout cars. Two BRDM AT vehicles were posted on either side of Sevastianovo.
Command squad penetrated the town's defensive zone, finally arriving at housing where the two were staying. Commander eliminated the two and their security detail. Commander also seized a number of documents and a cell phone.
When command squad arrived at the location of the three captured friendly operatives, he was killed. Second in command found two of the three operatives were missing and the third, an unidentified female was dead.
CDF forces withdrew from town after completing their mission, and returned to the forward zone.
Losses were high. Command squad lost five, while 2nd squad lost one and 3rd squad lost two. The BRDM scout car posted to the east of town was destroyed.
The gunship was downed, with the air crew surviving. They were evacuated with command squad back to the forward zone.
Field counts of enemy losses include three technicals.
