Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations continued at an increased pace.
Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in six operations in five regions.

1) On Friday, 2nd Bn, Chernarus 4th Separate Light Mountain Rifle Brigade marched on Rogovo in Chernarus with orders to recapture the town after it was invaded by separatist forces.

The tactical plan called for 2nd and 3rd squad to attack from the southwest, while command squad attacked from the southeast. Enemy artillery caused some damage to 3rd squad as it began its advance.

The assault in the town began very quickly, with command squad using artillery to eliminate the supply trucks the enemy had with them, and two heavy machine gun technicals.

Enemy local counterattacks were fierce, causing severe damage to 2nd squad. Though 2nd squad was well away from the artillery fire safety line, it is possible that their losses were caused by friendly artillery fire.

The commander found and stripped the two criminal command operatives of critical intelligence documents. The task force was about to retreat back to base when orders were cancelled and new orders issued.

The new objective was about 1.5 kilometers north of Rogovo. After some maneuver time, the task force remnants attacked with the support of a tank, successfully clearing the new objective.

Losses were high. Command squad lost four, while 2nd squad lost all but its commander. 3rd squad lost five.

2) On Sunday, 3rd Bn, Chernarus 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade went to Hodingen in Werferlingen, with orders to intercept a separatist force marching to take over the town.

Just after completing the deployment just north of town, command issued new orders for the task force to advance one kilometer north.

The initial contact was by a Wagner operated gunship. At the new location, infantry attacks began in the north. Tank 1 defended against infantry attacks while Tank 2 was left south of the river to fight off enemy vehicles.

The enemy attacks were stopped, but casualties were high with command squad losing seven, and 3rd squad and 2nd squad each losing five.

Enemy losses included no fewer than five gunships and some armored vehicles.

3) Later that same day, another task group was sent to Werferlingen city with orders to stop an enemy advance in the area.

Werferlingen city is a difficult area to either defend or attack. Once the task force arrived, it used one of the western bridges to cross over and move north. Command squad used the north bridge.

Two enemy T-55 tans were the first across, followed by two BRDM scout cars. One of the scout cars was destroyed by tank gunfire, while the acting commander destroyed the other.

As the task force pushed further into Werferlingen city, enemy counterattacks became more pronounced, damaging vehicles and cutting down rifle squads.

Commander made it across the river to hold it, until retreat orders were issued. By that time, 2nd squad which had been ordered to move to the east side, and 3rd squad were undergoing heavily enemy attacks from vehicles and infantry.

Commander folded remnants of Tank 1 and Reinforcing Tank 1, as well as 2nd squad into command squad. Mounted on 2nd squad's BTR (command squad's BTR was still south of the river), command squad crossed the river south, then boarded its BTR.

The task force succeeded in stopping the enemy from infiltrating further south, but there was a cost. 3rd squad lost its BTR, while Tank 2 and Reinforcing Tank 2 bailed and joined command squad in the retreat south.

Enemy losses were heavy as well. Field counts put enemy losses at two T-55s, four BRDMs, one BTR-80A. Enemy infantry dead littered the streets.

4) 1st Bn, Chernarus 2nd Naval Infantry Brigade was ordered to Maksiniemi on a warning order to intercept a separatist force marching to take the town.

Attacks on the task force sent began almost immediately, with 4th Squad becoming pinned down by enemy foot patrols about 1,500 meters south of town. Commander set the deployment as an outward arc pointing north.

Commander committed an error in deploying his rifles, expecting enemy vehicles to attack from the north, when they actually attacked from the west. The result was 2nd squad was wiped out in very short order by enemy technicals and armor.

Commander executed a tactical withdrawal back to the main highway, only to discover the enemy already had overrun the town. A heavy machine gun technical blocked the task force from retreating. Commander was killed trying to clear the block.

4th squad took overall command of the task force. The commander determined he did not have sufficient forces to clear the block, instead ordered the task force remnants to march east then south to avoid the block.

Casualties were heavy. 2nd squad was wiped out, while command squad was cut down to three. 4th squad and 3rd squad each lost three.

Enemy casualties were heavy as well. Field counts were the enemy lost at least seven technicals and one T-34/85 tank.

5) An amphibious task force from 2nd Bn, Chernarus 2nd Naval Infantry Brigade landed by assault transport boat on the east coast of Altis with orders to clear a sensitive site and to eliminate a pair of criminal command operatives.

The tactical plan was for 3rd and 4th squad to act as a fire block on the northside of command squad's and 2nd squad's route of march as they headed for the site. Instead, 3rd squad became pinned down and unable to move.

Commander launched several naval artillery fire strikes against both enemy vehicles and concentrations of enemy infantry. The combined effects of the naval gunfire and the advance of 2nd and command squads enabled them to approach the site relatively safely.

During the assault on the building housing the operatives, the commander was killed. The second in command continued the assault, eliminating the female operative, stripping her and her charge of documents and a cell phone.

Once the order to retreat and return to the boats was issued, command proceeded to cover the retreat of 2nd and 4th squads, which went very quickly.

Casualties were moderate. Command squad lost two, including the overall commander. 2nd and 4th squads lost two each.

Naval intelligence will review the documents seized from the operatives, including the cell phone to determine CNF's next move.

6) A naval infantry task force landed by assault transport boat on the southern coast of Armavir, after receiving orders to eliminate a group of separatist forces about two kilometers west of Mirskoye.

On shore, the task force moved in parallel north, until 2nd squad and 4th squad ran into enemy heavy weapon technicals. Commander ordered them to withdraw about 200 meters while he prepared a naval artillery strike.

2nd squad ran into the fire lane of a heavy machine gun technical, which wiped out the squad within two minutes as they retreated, while naval artillery engaged the other technical.

The remnants of the task force continued north, this time with naval artillery firing on a concentration of enemy troops at the center of their deployment. Commander found and stripped a female civilian operative of intelligence materials.

As enemy reinforcements arrived, commander received orders to retreat back to the boats.

Losses were heavy with 2nd Squad being destroyed and 4th squad losing two.
