Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from February 24th, 2023, to March 2nd 2023 Inclusive.

The tempo of combat operations continued at a reduced pace.

Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in six operations in three regions.

1) OP2302-24-1 In a nocturnal winter storm, 1st Bn, Chernarus 19th Separate Mechanized Cavalry Regiment was ordered to clear three locales in south Chernarus of separatist forces.

Two areas north of Chernogorsk, and Prigorodki on the coast were the objectives. Included in the tasks was the destruction of three enemy supply trucks.

Command squad lost six, including the commander. Failed to destroy enemy supply trucks due to short supply. Unable to locate criminal command group.

Field counts of enemy losses included three BTR-80As, three PK machine gun technicals and one T-34/85.

2) OP2302-24-1A Operations staff from Chernarus 19th Separate Mechanized Cavalry Regiment issued a warning order to 1st Bn, that separatist fores would make attempts at capturing Pulkovo and Vyshnoye in Chernarus.

After a 40 minute road march to Pulkovo, enemy infantry attacks came from both northeast and south, Vehicle attacks came from north including a gunship attack, during an air to air gunfight.

In Vyshnoye attacks came from north which included Russian special forces, Wagner operators and Russian speaking militia. Including gunship attacks. Casualties were mild with 2nd squad losing two.

Both friendly gunships were downed, with one landing due to a lack of fuel. Its crew was evacuated back to base with 2nd squad.

Field counts of enemy losses included two MI-8 gunships, three BRDM scout cars, two BTR-80As, and two BMPs.

3) OP2302-24-3 A warning order was issued by Chernarus 19th Separate Mechanized Cavalry Regiment operations staff about separatist movements in south Chernarus.

Most of the task force moved by road march to Nadezhdino, while a second group, 2nd squad and an AA truck moved by road to Mogilievka.

In Nadezhdino, enemy infantry attacks came from the northwest, and then the northeast, both of which were suppressed by our counterfire. Enemy infantry also tried to encircle the group from the south, but a counterattack restored the situation.

Enemy vehicle attacks came from the northeastern road, attacks which included BRDM scout car, a BMP, and a T-34/85. The gunfight between Tank 2 and the tank ended with the destruction of the T-72, after it suffered a fire control hit.

In Mogilievka, 2nd squad drove back an attack by Wagner operators from the northwest. The commander attempted to destroy three supply trucks, only to be caught in the resulting detonation.

An attack by an enemy BDM and Spanish speaking militia nearly destroyed 2nd squad, The defense of the town held, however before orders to withdraw were issued.

Casualties were high. Command squad lost one, while 2nd squad lost eight. One MI-24 gunship was shot down as were the two Su-25 ground interdiction fighters. One tank was destroyed. One tank was overturned.

Field counts of enemy losses included one T-34/85, and three BRDMs.

4) OP2302-24-5: A warning order was issued by operations staff 1st Bn, Chernarus 4th Separate Light Mountain Rifle Brigade, saying separatist forces were planning to capture Shakhovka in Chernarus.

The resulting task force deployed in the village after a 24 minute cross country march. Enemy rifle attacks began almost immediately with attacks from the north by Spanish speaking militia, as well as Wagner operators.

Enemy vehicles also attacked from the northern roads, vehicle types which included Humvees, BRDMs and a variety of heavy weapon technicals. Both friendly infantry and a gunship made short work of enemy infantry and vehicles.

When the order to retreat was issued, the task force withdrew south in good order.

Casualties were moderate. 2nd squad lost two, 3rd squad lost one, Reinforcing Squad 1 lost five and Reinforcing Squad 2 lost four. The Su-25 ground interdiction fighter was shot down.

6) A Chernarus private contractor special forces team was assigned two assassination tasks in Maksiniemi in Finland.

Both HVTs were eliminated. The team returned to base without losses.

7) A Chernarus private contractor special forces team was assigned two assassination tasks in Malden.

Both HVTs were eliminated, but the team suffered the loss of the team sharpshooter and the team SAW operator.

The remnants of the team commandeered a civilian truck and returned to safety.
