In the aftermath of 911, we heard about a number of recriminations from the short-sleeved approach the President Bill Clinton administration had with terrorists, albeit not broadcast to the nation on a major television network.
A film documentary is to be broadcast around the anniversary of 911 which outlines some major mistakes, some honest, but mostly deliberate, that led to the attack on 911.
Now, we read that Clinton himself is trying to get ABC to cut out the offending portions so as to not embarass his administration and his record of national security, which by all generous standards was pretty pathetic.
Clearly, exposing the nation to attack was a greater evil than trying to hide the truth, but this effort by Clinton is pretty bad.
