We checked seven conservative and one socialist blog to see who would have commentary first on this latest news..

The blogs were Little Green Footballs, Captains Quarters, Powerline, Media Research, Red State, Rantburg, Michele Malkin and Huffington Post.

It was surprising to us that Charles Johnson would come in third given that he usually doesn't post anything much before 1000 CST.

But it was not surprising at all Mrs. Malkin came in first since she is a dead tree journalist and likely has a true AP feed to work from.

Huffington Post. has a real AP feed as well, but as of the time of this post, no one in her gaggle of leftists and liberals had yet to comment on the thinning of the line in the War on Terror.
