You know as part of their agreement with the AP, Yahoo News is perfectly within their rights as a subscriber to rewrite the headline. This apparently was a well planned enemy ambush that the Marines sprung, owing to training and readiness.

We're happy the Good Guys didn't get hammered too bad by the bad guys, and we wish the Jarhead who did get hit a speedy recovery.

We're equally sorry civilians got caught in the crossfire but the rules are very clear and the Marines followed them to a "t"

It isn't Afghan civilians or Afghan military on the line; there are our own folks with their necks on the line.

It sucks to be Afghani, but we are certainly happy the Marines survived the ambush.
