One of the very best rock bans to be formed ever, not particularly well known throughout its life was Cactus.
What makes Cactus so appealing was the down and dirty way they played rock blues, and the fact the they were well ahead of their time for musical subjects.
The men displayed in this band are a bunch of FOGs (f*cking old guys) except they sound pretty good even now.
If you get a chance to pickup any of their first three albums, do yourself a favor and do so.
If you have any love for rock and blues, you will thank me later.
Oh, and BTW, Carmine Appice and Tim Bogert former members of Vanilla Fudge are in this recording linked.
I wouldn't give a one dollar of monopoly money to see the Rolling Stones, but I would pay to see this band perform live.
