The Daily Oklahoman Friday reported that Oklahoma Heisman Trophy winning quarterback is quitting the Tennessee Titans and pro football.
According to the article, White quit because of his knees. No word yet on White's plans for the future. White played the last of the 2003 season injured, and it is not, and may well never, be clear if this contributed to his problems post college.
According to nfl.com, White was not taken in the 2005 draft and was apparently a walk on.
