I make the "prediction" because just about everyone is the traditional basketball conferences are beating up on one another and presenting a distorted face of some of the best teams in college basketball.

I suspect that, unlike last year, we could well have several below fourth seeds in the elite eight if not the final four, maybe even another mid major conference team in the mix.

While it is more than likely a major conference team will be in the Final Four, it will be not surprise to me to see a mid major team in the mix not a top seed,like Memphis.
