A note about this OOB: From what I can ascertain from online sources a Chinese division is the same numerical strength as a brigade. As such, the normal "standard" that a division represents about 10,000 combatants is false. Even in modern forces, a division wil be able to field at the most 6,000 effectives. That's "book" strength. What they're supposed to have.

Since each Chinese division represents about brigade strength, it will be fair to say that the actual strength would be roughly 800 to 1200 effectives per division. As I recall, the press then regarded the Chinese force as numbering 300,000. The true number was well below that counting services, closer to 30,000 armed effectives.
