Top Nine of the BCS Gatecrashers

Yahoo! Sports Analyst Terry Bowden outlines nine teams from the mid-major conferences that could crash the BCS series just as Utah did last year.

This is a fairly salty group, with the top three being Boise State, Fresno State, and Utah. Utah finished with an undefeated season last year.

It is hard to gage at this point how the Utes will do after losing coach Urban Meyer to Florida and a quarterback to the NFL, and Bowden won't say, adding that Utah was in the top five in scoring offense last year.

And ninth on the list and a solid number one on the Whoda Thunk list, are the Midshipmen of Navy, having won ten games in 2004 for the first time since 1905.
