P.J. Tucker Back on the Texas Hoops Roster

Bad news for Texas' Hoops opponents: Forward P.J. Tucker is academically eligible this year.

Everyone two years ago remembers this basketball powerhouse for Texas., a hard to contain shooter, and lightening quick defender. Last year Tucker was taken off the team because of academic, and Texas suffered accordingly, finishing 5th in the Big 12 at 20-11.

Tucker back in action should make a difference this year for the Longhorns.

The Big 12 Conference schedule has yet to be released, but Texas is in the Southern Division, which includes Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M, all tough opponents last year without Tucker.

Texas went 6-8 without Tucker and sophomore center LaMarcus Aldridge, who suffered and ankle injury and lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament to Nevada.
