A Chihuahua state anti-kidnapping unit arrested two kidnapping ringleaders and freed one unidentified female victim in Juarez Sunday, say Mexican press accounts.

Benjamin Aguilera Ruiz, AKA "Benjamin", 24, and José David Garcia Blanco 25 AKA "Jarocho" were arrested Sunday in connection with 12 kidnappings in Juarez in the last 18 months.

Agents with the Chihuahua Fiscalia General del Estado seized contraband used in the abductions including two weapons, USD $6,473.01 in ransom money denominated in Mexican pesos, a car and a plasma television set. Agents also seized seven homes used in the criminal operation.

Police agents are searching for two other members of the kidnapping gang, Enrique Hernandez Avila AKA "Kike", 33, and Luis David Escarcega.
