In the O-club I remarked yesterday, "It's snowing in Juarez."

Someone replied: "...there is a song in there, waiting to get out."

Here goes.

It's Snowing in Juarez

Has it only been six months, she said
Since we first met.
That warm desert breeze blowing over us
As we walked hand in hand
With her by my side

Some people say that Mexico is parched.
But those sweet senoritas
Will fill up your heart
That warm desert breeze
Made loving her so easy

(Chorus)
It's snowing in Juarez
Love me forever,she said.
I'll never leave her
I'll always need her
But it's snowing in Juarez

Her mama didn't like me much
A gringo she said could never really love
A treasure like her
I found in the desert
It's snowing in Juarez

(Chorus)
It's snowing in Juarez
Love me forever,she said.
I'll never leave her
I'll always need her
But it's snowing in Juarez

One beautful fall day
She was shopping for her family
In Juarez, she died
From stray gunfire
I miss her so much
It's snowing in Juarez

It's snowing in Juarez
Love me forever,she said.
I'll never leave her
I'll always need her
But it's snowing in Juarez
