This game is FreeFireZone's top match-up for January 7th.

Florida is now 13-0, and goes to Athens Saturday to played the 10-3 Georgia Bulldogs as both teams begin conference play.

Florida, now fifth in the nation off a recent win over Morgan State is riding high atop the SEC in nearly every statistical category. Georgia, even with a 10-3 record, is a mediocre team at best.

The Gators will be coming off a lopsided win over Morgan State 92-49 Tuesday night after shooting a season high 12 three-pointers. Florida team leading scorer Lee Humphrey shot 4 three-pointers.

In fact, junior Humphreys is second in the SEC in three pointers averaging 3.3 three-pointers per game and first in 3-pointer percentage at 55.6 percent.

Statistically in the SEC Georgia is not as good as Florida except in scoring defense and in three pointer percentage. In many categories, Georgia is bad.

Two of Georgia's losses were against big conference teams, one of those, 20th ranked Nevada against a ranked opponent. All of Georgia's losses have been road games. However, two of the Dawgs' wins have been against Clemson and Georgia Tech at home.

Georgia's freshman Levi Stukes is in the SEC's top ten in three-pointers and top 20 in scoring. Georgia is a young team with only one senior on their squad. Despite that, five players have double digits points per game and a lot of experience going in to this next game.

We expect this game to be very tight and very well played. Georgia has some solid home wins and even if this young team is unable to find a way to win they will likely find a way to scare Florida.
