Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations continued at an accelerated pace.

Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in six operations in three regions.

1) A pair of informants for the Chernarus Intelligence Service (ChRU) requested to be extract from Crna bara in Deniland Monday night.

The night before they rejected a suggestion by one of the operatives' boyfriends for a threesome. Angered, he beat them both up and threatened to turn them in.

The pair ran and found themselves holed up in a warehouse in Crna bara, an area known to be occupied by a French speaking criminal gang and patrolled by private operatives working in the gangs' pay.

The ChRU group entered Crna bara by vehicle early Monday morning and plowed their way to the warehouse, where the operatives were given first aid and then marched out of the area.

The informants then were driven to a rendezvous with an American operative who agreed to given them sanctuary. The ChRU team suffered no losses in their raid.

2) Two more friendly operatives were evacuated from Deniland by an armed element of the Chernarus Intelligence Service (ChRU) early Tuesday morning.

The two women were compromised when one of them lost a cell phone, which wound up in a local crime lord's possession. They then were ripped off by an unscrupulous boat captain who originally agreed to transport them.

The two sought shelter in a warehouse near the dock south of Belin, and they called their local handler working with the ChRU.

The ChRU team fought their way into the area, located the operatives and escorted them to a rendezvous, where they were taken and debriefed by a separate foreign intelligence service.

There were no losses.

3) The Chernarus Intelligence Service (ChRU) found information that an accountant for a Russian PMC unit and a French speaking criminal gang would be in Crna bara early Wednesday morning. The informant said the accountant would be in possession of a large sum of cash.

The ChRU unit parked their Land Rover transport vehicle about 500 meters south of Crna bara and attacked northward early Wednesday morning. Pushing to the known location of the command post of two criminal operatives, both operatives were killed by ChRU forces.

The command only found the dead body of Vladimor Vyurov and seized a list of individuals in Crna bara who had been kidnapped and deported elsewhere. The commander was unable to locate the dead body of Ersela Coba, despite searching the residential building twice.

The ChRU group located the vehicle being used by the accountant, eliminated the driver and seized a sum of cash. The amount was not disclosed.

The team then withdrew to their command post. No losses were reported.

4) A mobilized rifle task force assembled from 1st Bn, Chernarus 17th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to Zhukovo in Beketov Wednesday night with orders to cover an evacuation of civilians from the area.

Several residents of the town had been under constant threat since about a week ago, including threatening texts and emails, and drive by shootings. Zhukovo's mayor requested help from 4th Brigade to facilitate their evacuation.

The tactical plan for the defense of Zhukovo was to place all four armor vehicles, two BRDMs and two BRDM ATs, along with 2nd and command squad on the eastern entrance to the village through which the enemy was expected to attack.

3rd squad and one BRDM was deployed to guard the western end, where they would expect enemy infantry attacks as well.

Enemy technicals attempted to gain entry first, one Humvee MRAP and one recoilless rifle technical. Both were destroyed by small arms fire from command squad and from the BRDM.

A Russian MVD special forces unit got to within 50 meters from command and 2nd squad's positions before they were discovered. The firefight lasted less than 15 seconds, when the enemy squad was wiped out.

More technicals attacked from the west. They were stopped as well. Another infantry attack come from the north, hitting the position of 2nd squad. A second rifle attack hit in the west against 3rd squad as well.

The evacuation was successful with both trucks carrying civilians making it to friendly lines.

Casualties were heavy. 3rd squad lost three, while 2nd squad lost six. Command squad lost five. One BRDM AT vehicle was destroyed in a traffic accident.

5) A task force from 1st Bn Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to attack Novy Sobor in Chernarus Thursday morning.

Two separatist operatives, Oleg Noskov and an unidentified female assistant took over the town the previous night, and were in preparation to hold Novy Sobor with an AA artillery battery.

The tactical plan was for 2nd squad, along with the two BRDM scout cars to attack along the main highway from the west, while 3rd squad would attack from the east. Command squad would attack from the southwest.

The commander ordered an artillery strike on the AA guns and eliminated them, before attempting to enter town. 2nd squad entered town a few minutes later, but 3rd squad was delayed.

Chernarus infantry swept in quickly and cleared the town. The command was unable to locate the dead bodies of the two operatives after searching town for several minutes. They were known to be carrying important documents on their persons.

When the order came down to retreat, enemy counterattacks began. Up to then, Chernarus infantry was faced only with local and Saharani militia, but enemy reinforcements included Russian MVD special forces.

Those units whittled down the task force by almost two thirds before the task force were able to retreat back to base.

Losses were very heavy. 3rd and 2nd squads both were cut down to one each, with them folded into command squad. Command squad lost four.

One of the BRDM scout cars was destroyed. The SU-25 ground interdiction fighter providing air support was shot down with the loss of the air crew.
