Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from September 24th to September 30th Inclusive.

Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations continued at an increased pace.

Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in five operations in five regions.

1) A task force assembled from 4th Bn Chernarus 10th Tank Brigade was issued a warning order that a separatist armor force would attempt to take over the town of Ratzlingen in Rosche Friday morning.

Losses were high. One tank and one scout car were destroyed. 3rd squad lost three.

2) Friday evening a private special forces contractor team was tasked by Chernarus Intelligence Agency with extracting a pair of operatives in Deniland.

Friendly operatives were successfully extracted and then evacuated. One friendly operator was killed.

3) An armored task force from 1st Bn Chernarus 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade was ordered to Rottorf in Weferlingen with the task of clearing the town.

Mission was successful, but losses were high. Command squad lost four while 2nd squad also lost four.

4) Monday night a light infantry task force from 1st Bn, Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to Dolina in Chernarus with the tasks of clearing the village and extracting three humanitarian aid workers held there by separatist forces.

The mission was successful, but losses were very high.

Command squad lost all but one, 2nd squad lost six, while 3rd squad lost four. One humanitarian aid worker was extracted, while the other two are presumed dead.

5) A Chernarus Defense Forces special operations team led a small Ugandan rifle force to a fishing village with orders to clear the village of separatist allied forces.

The mission was successful. Losses were mild. The Chernarus team lost one, while the 2nd Ugandan squad lost two.

One of the accompanying BRDM scout cars suffered a crew kill, and became stuck. The remaining crew were ordered to abandon the vehicle and evacuate with 2nd squad.
