Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from October 8th to October 14th Inclusive.
Message begins:
The tempo of combat operations continued at a decreased pace.
Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in three operations in two regions.
1) A naval special forces raid in Olsha, Chernarus was launched Friday night. The task for the team was to extract a pair of friendly operatives, hiding out in the hamlet.
The mission was a success. No losses were reported. No photo play or video is available.
2) Wellendorf in Rosche. Meeting engagement Saturday night. Mission was successful. Command squad lost four, 2nd squad lost one and its BTR. 4th squad (relief) lost its BTR. One BRDM was destroyed. Downed pilot recovered.
Enemy losses included two T-34s, two BTR-80As, two BRDMs, and two light technicals.

3) Meeting engagement in Chernarus. Vybor was overrun with heavy casualties. A second operation was abandoned due to extremely high losses. Of 46 infantry total sent to Vybor, only six returned to base.
