Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from October 15th to October 21st Inclusive.
Message begins:
The tempo of combat operations continued at an increased pace.
Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in six operations in three regions.
1) A Chernarus army special forces team from Chernarus 20th Separate Army Reconnaissance Battalion is sent to Polesovo in Chernarus. Commander died. Mission was aborted. Film can be seen here
2) An element of 2nd Bn Chernarus 33rd Separate Mountain Motorized Brigade was ordered to attack the town of Schonthal in Cham. Task force also was ordered to eliminate two operatives, Enver Hoxha and Raisa Svanidze. Losses were high. Command squad lost four while 3rd squad lost seven. One tank was destroyed. A rifle task force formed from 2nd Bn Chenarus 17th Separate Light Rifle Brigade attacked the village of Gavrilovka in Beketov. The commander also was directed to eliminate the leadership of the separatist force, Maija Depreravich and Nina Novakovic. Command squad lost one. A film can be seen here.
4) A Chernarus army special forces team from Chernarus 20th Separate Army Reconnaissance Battalion is sent to Tisy in Chernarus with orders to eliminate a pair of criminal operatives, Simeon Piscevic and Anna Rasputin. The mission was successful. The team sapper was killed. A secondary task to find and destroy supply trucks failed. A film can be seen here.
5) A private contractor special forces team went to Ol'sha in Chernarus to evacuate two friendly operatives. The team sapper died during a firefight in town. One of the civilian operatives, a female, was killed while being escorted to their extract point. A film is available here.
6) In east Chernarus 1st Bn Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to attack and clear the town of Gorka. Criminal operatives Enver Kadare Katrina Piminova were eliminated. The mission was successful. Command squad suffered one non combat loss. 2nd squad lost five, while 3rd squad lost seven. One BRDM scout car was lost. A film is available here.
