Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from December 3rd to December 9th Inclusive.

The tempo of combat operations continued at a steady pace.
Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in five operations in five regions.
1) A part of 1st Bn Chernarus 2nd Separate Naval Infantry Brigade was ordered to attack and retake the village of Koivuniemi in Virolahti.
Separtatist forces occupying the town were led by criminal operatives Jovan Adamovich and Valentina Blavatsky. They both were on a list of individuals to be eliminated.
Both enemy criminal operatives were eliminated and documents were seized from their persons. Clearing task failed. Losses were moderate with command squad losing two, 2nd squad losing three and 3rd squad losing three. A film is available
2) A task force from 4th Bn Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade was ordered to evacuate a small light rife unit which has become stranded in the town of Nataln in Rosche.
The operation was a success with mild losses including one BRDM scour car and one rifleman from the heavy infantry section of the task force.
The enemy lost by field count three BRDM scout cars, one T-34/85 tank and one T-55 tank. No film or photoplay is available.
3) A rifle forces from 3rd Bn Chernarus 24th Separate Light Mountain Rifle Brigade was ordered to Lippe in Gabreta with the task for clearing the town of separatist affiliated forces and to eliminate a pair of enemy criminal operatives, Ismail Gjokaj and Anne Kvitko.
Town clearing task was a failure. An enemy AA battery was destroyed and both enemy criminal operatives were eliminated. Casualties were high with 2nd squad was cut down to two. 3rd squad was cut down to six. Command squad was cut down to eight. A film is available.
4) Part of 2nd Bn Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to attack the hamlet of Sosnovka. The task force eliminated Matija Depredovich and a female assistant. Mission was a success.
Casualties were mild. Command squad lost two, 2nd squad lost one, and 3rd squad lost two. Unable to locate the female half of the criminal command group.
5) An amphibious naval infantry assault detachment, part of 2nd Bn Chernarus 2nd Separate Naval Infantry Brigade was ordered to attack the town of Chalkiea in Atis.
The task force returned to Chalkeia after an extended absence after Chernarus naval intelligence discovered the town was taken over by a separatist affiliated mixed rifle force, led by the criminal operatives Zakhar Prilipin and Anna Alievueva.
The task force encountered several enemy patrols on the approach march to Chaleia, some of which caused considerable damage to 2nd squad.
The mission was successful. Casualties were moderate with command squad losing two, 2nd squad losing four and 3rd squad losing one.
