The tempo of combat operations continue at an increased pace.

The unit encountered Russian speaking militia twice in separate operations in Neochori, defeating them a second time.

The unt it also overran Alikompos Hotel area, but was driven back when the enemy counterattacked with heavy armor. A photoplay is available.

3) A rifle task force from 2nd Bn Chernarus 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was ordered to attack and clear the town of Novi Sobor in Chernarus Monday morning.

Separatists took over the town the night before, and already were in the process of setting up a defensive zone, complete with a mortar battery.

The separatist operation was led by enemy criminal operatives Zakhar Prelipin and Anna Rasputin, both of whom were on a Chernarus Defense Forces kill list.

The tactical plan for the attack was for 2nd and 3rd squads to attack from the southwest, while command squad, supported by one BRDM scout car, would attack from the southwest.

The attack operation went very quickly. The task force avoided enemy artillery, and launched an artillery attack on the mortars. Both operatives were eliminated, and important documents were seized.

Losses were heavy, with 2nd and 3rd squads losing eight each. Command squad lost three including the commander. The SU-25 ground interdiction fighter was shot down. The pilot ejected safely and was evacuated with 2nd squad.

A photoplay is available.

4) A Chernarus Naval Forces special operations team inserted into northern Altis with orders to eliminate a pair of enemy criminal operatives, Vladimir Rozhin and Ersela Coba.

The operation went very quickly and very smoothly. The team penetrated the defensive zone at Frini from the northeast, then located the operatives.

Supporting the mission was a pair of A-7 fighter-bombers.

There were no losses. The team returned safely back to ship.

A photoplay is available.

5) Chernarus Coastal Operations Group recon staff received a message that a pair of friendly informants were trapped in Khelm, Chernarus and were in danger of being exposed.

A Chernarus Naval Forces special operations team was dispatched and inserted via boat. Air support was provided by an army MI-24 gunship.

The team approached Khelm from the east, then penetrated the defensive perimeter of the village with the help of air support.

Enemy rifle counterfire was heavy. One exchange resulted in the loss of the team sapper.

The team pushed to the operatives' hideout to find the male element but not the female operative. The mission was adjudged to be a failure even though the male informant was safely evacuated by assault boat.

A photoplay is available.

6) An amphibious naval infantry force, part of 1st Bn Chernarus 2nd Separate Naval nfantry Brigade was ordered to Kauppila in Maksiniemi to attack and clear the town of separatist affiliated forces.

Leading the separatist force was a pair of enemy criminal operatives, Ferid Murad and Ana Senicar. They brought with them a Russian speaking PMC, presumably a death squad to do their dirty/wet work.

The tactical plan was for the task force to attack frm the south on a broad front, with support from a pair of Swedish air force ground interdiction fighter-bombers.

The task force commander located the dead bodies of the operatives, stripping them of intelligence documents they were known to be carrying. Those documents were lists of contractors they use and their cell phone numbers.

The attack went very quickly, and for the defenders very violently. The town was successfully cleared and the PMCs were eliminated.

Casualties were light. Command squad lost one, while 2nd squad lost two and 3rd squad lost two.

A photoplay is available.
