Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in seven operations in three regions.

1) OP2302-17-1 4th Bn, Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade was moved to Mehre and Gross Lidern in Rosche, with orders to prevent the takeover of the locales by separatist mobile forces.

For the next three hours, the task force held against repeated enemy attacks at Mehre and at Gross Lidern. Their efforts prevented the enemy from taking over.

Losses were non existent. Field counts of enemy losses included eight BRDMs two T-55s one T-34 and one BTR-80A.

2) OP2302-17-1A Only hours later the same task force from Chernarus 10th Tank Brigade was ordered to recapture the same three locations as before, Mehre, Gross Lidern and Klein Lidern.

After securing Mehre, command squad, covered by the task force's three tanks, attacked Gross Lidern from the southeast. As command squad advanced, enemy resistance became more pronounced.

A shootout took place which pitted command squad against Wagner operators and Russian speaking militia. The shootout was costly, which whittled command squad down to just four effectives.

After reinforcing with replacements, commander pressed the attack again, this time clearing out the town. By the time the task force was ready to take Klein Lidern, the operation was over and the task force retreated to Gross Lidern.

Casualties were heavy with command squad losing four, including the commander. Field counts of enemy losses included two BRDM scout cars and two BTR-80As.

3) OP2302-17-2 4th Bn, Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade was ordered to intercept enemy forces at two locations in Rosche: Hanstedt and Ratzlingen.

This time, the weather was heavy rains, which reduced visibility along with the early morning hours.

Separatists attacked Hanstedt three times from the northeast and from the northwest, at one point penetrating into the task force's defensive zone, only to be wiped out.

At Ratzlingen, enemy infantry attacked from the northwest, forces which included Russian special forces. Their attacks damaged Tank 2 enough so it was unable to fight.

Enemy attacks also included tanks and BMP, as well as a MI-8 gunship.

During the retreat, both Su-25 ground interdiction fighters were shot down, but the pilots were rescued and evacuated by gunships back to the forward zone.

Casualties were very light. Field counts of enemy losses included two BRDM scout cars, two T-345/85s one MI-8 gunship, and one BMP-1.

4) OP2302-17-2A Parts of Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade were assembled into a ask force with orders to attack and clear three locations in Rosche: Rassau, Molbath, and Klein Malcau.

The initial attack on Rassau put command squad into the southern part of town. The enemy counterattacked with a BTR-80 and infantry, and both were stopped. Commander was killed trying to destroy an enemy APC.

As the clearing of Rassau continued, command sought to destroy three enemy supply trucks. His efforts drew fire from an enemy gunship, which not only killed the second in command, but also destroyed one of the supply trucks.

The task force finished the operation by clearing Molbath and Klein Macau.

Local separatist commanders and sympathizers had been threatening a number of civilian residents in the area with trial and execution for perceived crimes.

The town mayor requested help from 13th Brigade commander for transport of the affected civilians. Separatists threatened attacks should Chernarus forces be used to cover the evacuations.

The first of the attacks came from across the river to the northeast, and from the north. Many of those attacks were stopped using artillery. The separatists also attacked using heavy armor.
