The tempo of combat operations continued at a steady pace.

Chernarus Defense, Naval and air forces have engaged in four operations in three regions.

1) OP2304-14-1 1st Bn, Chernarus 19th Separate Mountain Mechanized Cavalry Regiment was tasked to defend two locales in Chernarus against expected attacks.

In Pulkovo, the two BRDM scout cars were destroyed by an antiaircraft battery deployed to the location. An overrunning attack by the task force's tanks destroyed the battery, allowing a defensive deployment.

The environment was light rain as friendly forces deployed, defending against infantry attacks from the north east, as well as medium and light armor from the northwest and northeast.

In Vishnoye, once the order to withdraw from Pulkovo arrived, the task force defended against infantry attacks from Russian special forces and from Wagner operators. Several light armor attacks took place as well, all which were stopped.

Casualties were light with command squad losing two and 2nd squad losing one. Both of the task force's scout cars were destroyed.

Field counts of enemy losses included three T-55s, three BRDMs and two BTR-80As.

2) OP2304-14-3 A task force from 1st Bn, Chernarus 17th Separate Mechanized Cavalry Regiment conducted a wide area combat operation against separatist forces in three locales, Berkovitsa, Slatina and Barzia in Leskovets.

The initial ground assault on Bekovitsa was costly, as command squad lost six effectives, including the commander, most of them against Russian special forces.

Also at one point, the task force had no operating tanks, as one was destroyed and the other two suffered mobility hits. 2nd squad was designated task force commander.

After defending against enemy counterattacks, the command mustered his forces for a second ground attack on Slatina.

2nd squad, its ranks swelled by two effectives from the remnants of command squad, and one crewman from a BRDM scout car, attacked from the west.

As the task force was mopping up in Slatina, commander ordered a MI-24 gunship to recover two SU-25 pilots on th ground about five kilometers north. It was shot down with the loss of all on board.

The final attack took place from the west, with tanks rolling into the heart of Barzia. The infantry sweep went quickly. The town was secured.

Losses were high. Both BRDM scout cars were destroyed or abandoned, one tank was destroyed and one was disabled and abandoned. Infantry losses amount to ten.

Enemy losses were heavy, including four T-34/85s, three BMPs, three BTR-80As, two BRDMs and one T-55.

3) OP2304-14-5 An amphibious task group formed from elements of 1st Bn, Chernarus Separate Naval Infantry Brigade, moved by assault transport boat to Kauppila in Maksiniemi with orders to stop an enemy advance into town.

Initial enemy contact included enemy technicals and then infantry. Most of the attacks hit 3rd squad in the east, as losses mounted. At one point command squad was forced to relieve 3d squad to get it to relative safety.

Losses continued to mount, as commander declared the mission outcome doubtful, and ordered a retreat back to the boats. The enemy did not pursue.

Losses were heavy with 2nd squad and 4th squad wiped out, and 3rd squad losing seven.

Field counts of enemy losses included five technicals.

4) OP2304-16-6 The amphibious task force formed from 1st Bn, Chernarus 2nd Separate Naval Infantry Brigade returned to Maksiniemi with the task of clearing an area where separatists had deployed.

The separatists also had brought a mortar battery with them and had built a bunker.

The attack began after the task force approached from the south in a broad front. Attacks began to converge on the bunker. Friendly forces quickly cleared the area of enemy forces.

Command squad also attacked the mortar battery, destroying it without naval artillery. Command was unable to communicate with the main shooter aboard ship.

Losses were moderate with command squad losing four, 2nd squad losing two, and 4th squad losing four.
