Yahoo! Sports analyst Terry Bowden put together his list for the top conference to supply players to the NFL in each draft and it is no surprise the ACC comes out on top.

No surprise to us given that the ACC had a tremendous number of players taken in the first and second round, a large cross section of them defenders with Florida State claiming six, all on the defensive side of the ball.

Said Bowden:

The ACC had the most players drafted at every position – 11 defensive linemen, eight linebackers and 10 defensive backs (the SEC also had 10 DBs).

The Houston Texans drafting DE Mario Williams of North Carolina State was the predictor for this year's draft.

Bowden list the conferences as follows: ACC, Big 10, SEC, Pac 10, Big 12, and six other minor major conferences.
