Comments using Mozilla ( which we use) and Firefox have been working, but we discovered that comments were not working using Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer is picky with html and css code. We looked for several days trying to find the code that was preventing comments from displaying properly, and we finally found it:

A start tag was placed before a text word.

IE was reading the erroneous C tag as an html tag rather than an erroneous tag.
