So, the once and former QB of the helpless Atlanta Falcons, gets in trouble for participating in a blood sports.

The article is a breathless denunciation of Vick's role in gambling and the blood sport of dogfighting.

We can just hear the remarks on the east coast, "In the deep south and po' folks, but here?..."

It's not like Michael Vick was trying to supplement his NFL income. The man was getting by a little better than the rest of us. He won't be trying to plead he had to find a way to pay the rent or make the car payment.

So, the dogfighting was about a thirst for blood and greater violence than even Vick gets as a mediocre NFL playcaller for Atlanta, and probably about his friends and associates.

But we are just guessing at this.

We just don't have a dog in this fight...
