LGF, Pamela Geller and the Blog Wars

I guess I haven't being paying too much attention, but a blog war has been growing over the past 18 months,pitting Charles Johnson against just about everyone else who are against the growth of Islamic culture in the west, particular in Europe. And this war continues to grow by the week.
It is in many ways surprising how Charles Johnson went this route, going from a very strong advocate of stopping Islamic influence in the west to where he is today, but as Atlas Shrugs's Pam Geller pointed out, Johnson is a 911 conservative.
I have pointed out in the past in politics a winning political party's influence is only as strong as the coalition it gathers to win elections. The republican party is as instructive example of this as the democratic party is now.
Johnson, as well as many other, fall well into the rubrik of those who suddenly decided the country should be defended even as the twin towers fell that terrible morning 90 months ago.
But after such a long confrontation, some are war-weary, and some just want the fighting to end under any circumstances.
Great news for our armed and hostile enemies, terrible news for us.
The clearing house, as it were for those who have earned Johnson's special enmity is the European website Gate of Vienna. I say central being they have associations with a number of people/groups in the US ans Europe who are constantly reporting on the growing hostility of Muslim immigrants in Europe.
Included is Jihad Watch, Atlas Shrugs, and others.
From what I have read in all these sites is that Johnson's invective is undeserved. What I would expect to see in pro-Nazi sites are references to Hitlerian fascism, but all I have seen so far is a number of very worried folks about who see their institutions unable or unwilling to defend one group of people against another far more actively hostile group.
My best guess is that if these conditions continue that maybe it should become US policy that groups and individuals who are at risk of undergoing continuing attacks by Muslim immigrants would be entitled to aide in the form of weapons training, arms and ammunition at the minimum.
And if our current political institutions in the USA refuse to entertain the notion of defending Western civilization, perhaps it is time to overturn those institutions into ones what will.
Unlike the blog wars,which will likely remain a war of words, what is happening in Europe is near armed confrontation. People have a right to defend themselves,their families and their nation even as the institutions of those nations fail to do so.
