The main battle area for Friday's fight took place in the area bounded by points A, B and C. B is Bellavista where the fighting started and the battle ended at Point C, I think Sabinos.
The narrative in translated Spanish said the battle concluded between Bellavista, or point B and Francisco I Madera, Point A at Sabinos. But as you can see, there is no town anywhere in the area and the only town nearby is point C.
So, apparently Mexican soldiers and Marines ranged and swept an area of about eight to 12 square kilometers in cane fields in the area, if my guesses are correct.
