Tennessee, Michigan and LSU are third through fifth, respectively.

Then Ohio State, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Miami, and Florida.

This year the AP poll is not to be used in the BCS rankings, due out starting in October. The BCS will use USA Today coaches poll and Harris Interactive poll.

In this list is nothing really out of place. All the teams listed have legitimate chances this year. Missing from this poll but in previous spring polls is Alabama and Cal Berkeley. According to the article a missing team from last season are the 12-0 Utes of Utah, which finished 4th in the final AP poll.

Florida coach Urban Myers left Utah to coach for Florida.
