As another meeting on the ceasefire in the nearly two year old civil war in southeastern Ukraine is set to convene, both sides are accusing the other of ceasefire violations.

The meeting to discuss the ceasefire in southeastern Ukraine is set to take place in Minsk today.

According to a news account which appeared in the Russian language korrespondent.net, the Ukrainian Anti Terrorist Operation that oversees Ukrainian military operations in that region said on Tuesday that three Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another seven were wounded in artillery attacks by separatists.

Ukrainian military spokesman Alexander Motuzyanik said that every third ceasefire violation by the Russian backed rebels included a mortar attack. Most of the attacks were centered around the Zaistevo - Mayorsk line in western Donetsk. Reports of small arms attacks were noted near the airport, and in Krasnogorovka and Marinka.

The report also said that rebels have fired on Ukrainian troops in northern Lugansk.

According to an official news release by the Donetsk ministry of defense, Ukrainian forces fired on rebel positions a total of 173 times over the past 24 hours.

According to Donetsk ministry of defense spokesman Colonel Eduard Basurin, 82mm and 120mm mortar and small arms fire were reported in Dokuchaevsk, which is south of Donetsk city, in Zaytsevo and in Gorlovka, which is well north of Donetsk city

Mortar and antiaircraft gunfire were reported in western Donetsk city, in the village of Dzerzhinskoye and the Petrovsky district and in the Volvo Center.

Basurin said some of the fire came from the Ukrainian 14th Brigade and the Ukrainian 95th Airmobile Brigade.
